Numismatic Guaranty Corporation™ (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®), and Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®) have been dedicated to providing European collectors and dealers with unmatched services since early 2008. Over the last decade, the companies have steadily expanded these services and support, now boasting two locations: NGC International GmbH™ (NGC GmbH™) in Munich, Germany, and NGC International UK Limited™ (NGC UK™) in London, United Kingdom.

NGC, NCS and PMG also have Official Submission Centers in the Netherlands and France, as well as a network of Authorized Dealers throughout Europe to help collectors and dealers submit their collectibles to NGC GmbH and NGC UK for certification. During this unprecedented time, NGC, NCS and PMG have taken every measure to provide the same unparalleled services that collectors and dealers have come to expect from our companies, while prioritizing the safety of our customers and our employees.

For example, NGC and PMG had planned many on-site grading events at NGC GmbH’s Munich office in 2020, but the pandemic forced their postponement. In place of the on-site grading events, NGC GmbH is offering Expedited Grading Specials through January 2021 so that submitters can enjoy the same fast turnaround times as on-site grading. Plus, there is no additional cost for the expedited turnaround.

In addition, for the first time ever in Europe, NGC GmbH is extending expedited grading to include NGC Ancients and NCS conservation. That means the turnaround time for applicable NGC, NGC Ancients, NCS and PMG services will be just two weeks (not including shipping time).

NGC GmbH has also modified its fees according to local directives. To encourage economic growth amid the pandemic, Germany instituted a tax relief measure for services completed from July 1 to December 31, 2020. Accordingly, NGC GmbH updated its service fees to reflect Germany’s temporary reduction in VAT from 19% to 16%. The 16% VAT rate will automatically be applied to eligible NGC GmbH submissions completed before December 31.
