NGC Labels

NGC labels may be combined with releases designations and pedigrees to further distinguish particular coins and collections. NOTE: Any quantity or number listed on the label is for numbering purposes only and DOES NOT indicate any actual limitation on the coin mintage or the quantity of the label, grade or designation.

Except for Signature Labels, which are guaranteed to have an authentic autograph from the person indicated on the label, NGC special labels are for enhancement purposes only and are not guaranteed. Whether a specific NGC special label adds value to a graded coin is determined solely by the market.

Labels available for the NGC Oversize Holder will be marked as such below the label name.

American Numismatic Association

NGC has been the Official Grading Service of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), the only coin collecting organization chartered by Congress, since 1995. A special certification label with the ANA's logo was created to celebrate NGC's long-standing relationship with the collecting organization.
